Meets the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Motor Vehicle Standard No. 500 (49 CFR 571.500).

  • Each vehicle carries a VIN registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
  • Subject to state and local laws.

South Carolina law permits LSVs on roads with posted speed limits of no more than 35 mph, 24 hours a day.
